The Charleston Gazette - Service 2 p.m. Sunday in Robertson Funeral Home here for Paul Boggs, 62, former state director of school transportation. Boggs died Thursday at his Sutton residence of an apparent heart atack. He held the position of school transportation for 14 years. and during this period he was instrumental in the development of a "drivers safety program" in West Virginia secondary schools. After having attended Glenville State College and Marshall University, Boggs held the position of assistant to the Braxton County Court Clerk, financial clerk to the Braxton Co. Board of Education, and was a Braxton Co. Teacher. At the time of his death he was the owner of Boggs Equipment Co. He is survived by his widow, Elizabeth, Daughter, Barbara Jewell Walters (Robert E.) son Patrick B. Boggs, of Charleston, brothers, Earnie H. of Gassaway, Benton D. of Roanoke,Va., sister Mrs. Sarah White (Earnie) of Miami,Fla.Burial will be in Sutton Cemetery. Submitted by Bill Cutlip.
