A resident of Salamonie Township in Huntington County near Warren, Chloeevelyn "Cody" Baker, 86, died unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 16, at her residence.
Born July 23, 1918 in Liberty Twp. in Wells County to Ora and Gertie Grace Wolfgang Mounsey, she married Forrest A. Baker on Thanksgiving Day 1937. He preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1978.
A member of the Warren United Church of Christ, she was a graduate of Liberty Center High School. She was an office assistant at the Riverside Veterinary Clinic in Warren for several years.
She is survived by her son, Jerry, of LaPorte, and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Mounsey.
Services at 2 p.m. Wednesday will be at Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown& Son Chapel with Pastor Charles Dye officiating. Burial will followat Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
Calling today at he funeral home from 3 to 8 p.m. Preferred memorials are to Helping Paws Pet Haven at 2242 S. Marion Road, Huntington.
