A woman who was in a car crash Monday died at Hershey Medical Center Tuesday, hospital officials said.
State police at Carlisle said Pauline E. Keck, 85, of Carlisle, was injured after she lost control of her 1993 Jeep Cherokee in South Middleton Township and hit a mailbox and a large rock, then went airborne and hit a tree.
Keck was driving along the 300 block of York Road about 1:33 p.m. when the accident happened, police say. She was not wearing a safety belt and had injuries in her head and torso, police say.

Pauline E. Keck 89, of Carlisle, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, in Hershey Medical Center.
Born Sept. 3, 1918, in Shiremanstown, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mae Gutshall Renshaw and the widow of Arthur S. Keck.
Surviving are two sons, Arthur R. Keck of Mt. Holly Springs and Ronald L. Keck of Boiling Springs; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Cindy Keck of Carlisle.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald E. Keck.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle, with the Rev. William E. Pipp officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home and Crematory, Carlisle, is handling the arrangements.
