Mr. Frank Bernard Long, 64, of Port Arthur, died Thursday, April 10, 2003 at his home. He was a native of Many, Louisiana and a resident of Shreveport and Alexandria, Louisiana before moving to this area in 1996. Mr. Long was a member of the First Baptist Church of Groves and the Masonic Lodge in Tioga, Louisiana. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1958 to 1961. Funeral services for Mr. Long were held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 12, 2003 at Creel Memorial Gardens in Camp Pearl, Louisiana under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Reverend Glenn Ducharme officiated. Survivors include his father, Hardy Long of Port Arthur, Texas; two daughters, Gina Kendrew of Pollock, Louisiana, and Tammy Carmouche of Pineville, Louisiana; sister, Dianne White of Pollock, Louisiana; brothers, Royce Long of Rialto, California, Jerry Long, Robert Long, and Kenneth Long all of Brookeland, Texas; six grandchildren, Jeremy, Jordan, B.J., Shane, Ethan and Bridgette; and one great grandchild, Cade.
