from his Obituary via Macy Allnutt Mortuary Eaton Colorado:
James Wayne Sharp (Jim) 51 of Loveland, Colorado past away in his sleep February 18, 2009 in Tulsa Oklahoma after a 7 month long battle with cancer.
He was born March 11, 1957 to Robert L. (deceased) and Vera L. Sharp in Fort Collins, Colorado. Jim was a native of Colorado and spent most of his life in the Fort Collins and Loveland area. Jim learned to fly small aircrafts and enjoyed taking his family on trips that he piloted.
Jim, like his grandfather loved to work with wood and made toys for his sons and all of his nieces and nephews. He also donated a great number of these wooden toys to "Toys for Tots" so that the less fortunate children could have a Christmas. He loved making these toys but what really made him happy was the joy that they brought to all that loved him.
Jim was a loving husband and companion to his wife Marilyn and a good father to sons Bobby and Ian Sharp and Antonio Lenzo. 16 Months ago Jim was blessed with his first and only grandson, Navin James Sharp (named after Jim), son of Robert Lee (Bobby) and Marie Sharp of Vermont and was to become a father-in-law again as Kristopher Ian Sharp is soon to marry Loren Kennedy in March where they reside in Phoenix, AZ.
Jim spent the last 20 years as a ready mix driver for Bestway Concrete in Windsor. He had earned the love and respect from all his fellow workers and customers. They will also miss him very much.
He is also survived by his mother Vera Selland, his stepfather Terry Selland, his sisters Diana Eliason and Gayle Sharp and his brother Michael Sharp. Jim touched the hearts of many and we will all miss him and the love he has shown each and every one of us.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 23 at Allnutt Funeral Service. Memorial contributions may be made to the cancer treatment center of your choice in Jim's name.
