DIMMITT (Special) Services for R.V. Bills, 86, of Dimmitt will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lee Street Baptist Church in Dimmitt with the Rev. Jeff Addison, pastor, officiating and the Rev. Benny Wright, pastor of Sunnyside Baptist Church, assisting.

Burial will be in Earth Memorial Cemetery in Earth under the direction of Foskey-Lilley-McGill funeral home in Dimmitt.

He died Monday, March 13, 2000, in Dimmitt.

He was born Aug. 24, 1913, in Delta County. He married Bessie Blundell on Dec. 27, 1932, in Hugo, Okla. He moved to Castro County in 1935 from Klondike and farmed in the Sunnyside area until he retired in 1977. He moved to Dimmitt in 1996 and was a member of Lee Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Richard of Lazbuddie and Larry of San Antonio; a brother, Hollis of Wichita Falls; a sister, Teddie Curfmann of Houston; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice Cares, 112 W. Etter, Dimmitt 79027.
