Perschke, Amelia (3 May 1881 - 13 Feb 1934)
Funeral services for Mrs. O.C. Perschke of Unity, whose death was chronicled last week, were held at the Methodist church at Unity last Friday, Rev. C. Paul Noulton officiating, and burial was made in the Colby Cemetery. The pall bearers were Frank Bloczynski, A.M. salter, August Weide, Carl Wilecke, Herman Weiland and Martin Hellestad.
The deceased was born May 3rd, 1881, in Manitowoc county, and her maiden name was Miss Amelia Gensch. She was married in 1901 to Mr. Perschke, who operateda planing mill at Colby where they lived until 1910 when they moved to Unity and Mr. Perschke established the hardware business in which he is still engaged.
Mrs. Perschke took part in the Methodist ladies' aid society's activities and was a member of the Rebekahs and Royal Neighbors.
She is survived by her widower, two daughters, Leona, now Mrs. Robert Binning of Fond du Lac, and Miss Mildred, who teaches in the Medford public school, three grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Herman Nimmer and Mrs. robert Kreiman of Kiel and two brothers, Ernst and Fred Gensch of Omro.
