CALDWELL, 82,IS TAKEN; RITES ARE HELD ------ Campobello, Oct. 19.-- Mrs.Wilhelmin Caldwell, 82, one of Spartanburg county's oldest residents, died Saturday night at 9:45 o'clock after an illness of six months.
She was the daughter of James and Mary Walden Simmons of Spartanburg county.
Surviving are two sons, John C. Caldwell, Charlotte, and Andrew Caldwell, Spartanburg; four daughters, Mrs.Bernice Brown, Landrum; Miss Ernestine Caldwell, Campobello route2; Mrs.Jessie C. Toomer, Beaufort, and Mrs. Margaret C. Taylor, Campobello, route 2; two sisters, Mrs.W.R. Dobson, Fairforest. and Mrs. Mattie Henson. Spartanburg; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at the home this afternoon. the Rev. F.B.Mayes officiated. Burial was in Nazareth Presbyterian church cemetery. Petty Funeral home,Landrum,had charge of arrangements.
