KNOPP, Richard "Dick" 82, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Saturday September 5, 2009. He was born December 29, 1926 in Harrisonville, Ohio the son of the late Harry & Hallie (Bachner) Knopp. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a partner at Denlinger's Garage. He is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Clodfelter of Seattle, Washington, Joyce & Charles Redmond of Penascola, Florida; two grandchildren, Peter (Julia) Renner and Valerie Burns; six great grandchildren, Alexis Knopp, Austin, Allison, Cole & Dillon Garza, and Jakob Renner; nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbors. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sue; a sister and a brother. A gathering of family and friends, will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday September 11, 2009 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity.
