Michael Dubrawsky,Sr. RD 1 Sugarloaf and 125 N. Avenue,Plainfield, New Jersey died Tuesday at 8pm. at his Plainfield residence following an illness of seven weeks.
He was born in Harwood and was the son of John and Mary (Kranyock)Dubrawsky.
He resided on East Green Street,West Hazleton for many years.
The past nine years, Mr. Dubrawsky was employed at the Plainfield Trust State National Bank, and prior to that, owned and operated the Diamond Theater on Alter Street.
He was a member of St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church, the Loyal Order of the Moose No. 202,the Sugarloaf Fire Co. and the Hibermian Club of Plainfield, N.J.
A son, Albert, preceded him in death and also a brother, George.
His first wife, the former Mary Zelinko,died 40 years ago.
Surviving are his second wife,the former Mary Matuszkiewicz and the following seven children: Michael Jr (by first wife),Harrisburg; Mrs Joseph(Helen)Strenk(By first wife)Haledon,N.J.; Emil (by first wife);East Aurora,N.Y.; Mrs Daniel(Dolores) Roskos,Levitton,; Donald,Sugarloaf; Mrs Albert(Shirley) Manna, Tresckow.
Also surviving are twenty-two grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: John,West Hazleton, Mrs Anna Dietrich, Imperial ,Pa.,Joseph, Weatherly: Mrs. Michael (Mary) Ogrydzial,Allentown,Andrew and Mrs.Vera Mitchell,this city; Mrs. Margaret Grenkevitch,Steelton.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30am. from the family residence,RD 1, Sugarloaf. Requiem High Mass will be celebrated in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church at 9a.m.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Rev Joseph Jackanich will conuct a prayer service, Friday a 7:30 pm. Friends may call this evening at their convenience..
