LeRoy L. Angell, of Gettysburg, entered into Heavenly rest June 27.
He was the son of the late Luther and Florence Koontz Angell.
Mr. Angell was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Gettysburg. He was involved with the concrete construction business his entire career. Mr. Angell began working for McDermitt Concrete Company and in 1968 started his own company that worked projects covering the entire East Coast. He retired in 1990. Mr. Angell was a former member of the Gettysburg Optimist Club, the Gettysburg Moose and the Home Builders Association. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ethel Sanders Angell and also surviving are three sons: Gary L. Angell of Gettyburg, Mark W. Angell of Biglerville, and Gregory A. Angell Venice, FL; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four sisters, Louella Strausbaugh of Littlestown, Ruth Hoffman of Littlestown, Doris Flickinger of Mt. Airy, MD, Grace Kerrigan of Gettysburg; three brothers, Albert Angell of Taneytown, Earl Angell of Mt. Airy, and Gene Angell of Taneytown; and a number of nieces and nephews.
