Mrs. Hazel Holton
A native of Hollidaysburg and a former teacher in the Hillcrest elementary school there, died Feb. 26 at her home in Claymont Del., of a heart attack after a month's illness. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Lingenfelter. Surviving are her husband, Ralph E. Holton; one daughter, Lyn Marie, 9, and one sister, Mrs. Wilbur U. Housel of Altoona. While in Hollidaysburg Mrs. Holton was a member of the Zion Luthern church. Interment was made at South Wellfleet, Mass.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel G. Holton, 44, wife of Ralph E. Holton, a special education teacher at the Minquadale Elementary School until her illness about two months ago, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Nickerson Funeral Home, Wellfleet, Mass., where friends may call Friday night. The Rev. Lynn Townsend, pastor of the Congregational Church of Cape Code, will officiate. Interment will be in South Wellfleet Cemetery. Friends in the Wilmington area may call tomorrow night at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, Twenty-fourth and Market Streets. It is requested that flowers be omitted.
Mrs. Holton was pronounced dead on arrival at the Delaware Hospital where she was taken last evening in the Claymont Fire Comapny ambulance after having a heart attack at her home, 2605 Cleveland Avenue, Claymont. She had become ill about the middle of January and was a patient at the Delaware Hospital for 11 days. She had appeared to be making a good recovery. Born in Holidaysburg, Pa., she attended public schools there and later went to the State Teachers College at Indiana, Pa. She taught for awhile in at Holidaysburg. She and her husband lived in the Wilmington area from 1942 to 1946, during which time she taught at Richardson Park School. They then moved to Cape Code, Mass. where the lived until returning here in 1951. Since 1954 they had lived at Claymont and she had taught at Minquadale. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Cape Code.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Lyn M. Holton, 9 at home, and a sister, Mrs. Mildred Housel, Altoona, Pa.
