Mrs. Myral (Waters) Frasure, age 87 of Dahlonega, died peacefully on Monday, January 14, 2013 at her home with her family at her bedside.
Mrs. Frasure was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County, a homemaker, and was of the Methodist faith. She worked at the Burlington Pine Tree Plant in Dahlonega for many years, and during WWII she worked in a shipyard in Brunswick, GA doing welding on war ships.
Myral was the daughter of the late Edgar and Lela (Chester) Waters and was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Frasure; sister, Opal Southern; brothers, Carlton Waters and Clayton Waters; granddaughter, Stephanie Helton; and son-in-law, Frank Smith.
Funeral services for Mrs. Frasure are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.
Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.
