A native of Hopewell, Va., she was the widow of Paul E. Connolly Sr. since his death in 1978.
She was a retired life insurance agent and a member of St. Augustine's Chapel, Carrollton, Va.
She was preceded in death by a son, Marshall Connolly.
Survivors include daughters, Julia Mabry, Loretta Adelhock, Mary Sentman, Teresa Gauvin; sons, Paul Connolly Jr., James Connolly, Charles Connolly and William Connolly; sisters, Helen Gizara and Jane White; 46 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Sunday at 5 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, with a Rosary service at 6 p.m. Requiem Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Portsmouth Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Augustine's Chapel, c/o 15496 Everets Road, Windsor, VA 23487.
