MISS KATIE M. HOBAN

Miss Katie M. Hoban, daughter of the late John and Bridge Tanian Hoban, died this morning at 3:55 o'clock at a local hospital.


Miss Hoban held membership in St. Paul's Catholic Church and was a member of the Christ Child Society and Altar and Sanctuary Society of that church.


A native of Baltimore, Md., Miss Hoban had resided in this city for many years.


She is survived by one sister, Miss Nellie Hoban and one niece, Miss Katherine M. Riley, both of Portsmouth; four nephews, P. J. Riley, Jr., and Francis J. Riles, both of Portsmouth; John F. Hoban and Fairfield Hoban, both of New York, N. Y.


The body will be removed to the residence, 524 Hampton Place, Apartment No. 2, this afternoon. Funeal services will be conducted at St. Paul's Catholic Church Thursday morning at 10 o'clock with Requiem High Mass.


Rosary services will be conducted at the residence tomorrow night at 8 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.


Note: Katherine worked as a clerk for the U.S. Civil Service.
