Santiago Acheta
PORTSMOUTH --- Santiago Acheta, 62, husband of Mrs. Apolonia Acheta, died Saturday at 9:20 a.m. in his home, 128 Henry St.
He was a native of the Philippine Islands. He was a retired Navy chief steward and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and World War II Veterans.
Besides his widow, he is survived by a nephew, Fernando A. Buccat of Portsmouth.
The body was taken to Brennan Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be recited Monday at 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted in St. Paul's Catholic Church Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.
