Obituary published by The Dalles Chronicle; February 14, 2012

Harold Richard Malcolm, Jr., 44, known to friends as "Richie," died Feb. 11, 2012 in Klickitat County, Wash., from a work-related truck accident.
He was born on April 11, 1967, in Watsonville, Calif., to Harold Richard Malcolm, Sr. and Judy Lynn Wilson.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, camping and all water sports. He most loved and enjoyed being with all his friends. Going to the coast was definitely one of his favorites.
He graduated from Wahtonka High School in 1986 and went into the Navy for four years, making honor guard in boot camp and joining the crew of the USS Ranger and traveling all over the western world.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Harold Richard Malcolm, Sr. and Georgia Malcolm, The Dalles, Ore.; brother Kevin and his wife Corey, King City, Calif.; brother Aaron Hausa, Hillsboro, Ore.; sister Kristy Malcolm Phillips, Portland, Ore.; nephews Rider and Gage Malcolm and niece Peyton Grace Phillips. He was preceded in death by his mother.
A life celebration will be Feb. 26, at 1 p.m., at The Dalles Eagles. All of his friends and family are welcome to share stories and celebrate his life.
Gardner Funeral Home handled cremation arrangements.
