Obituary published by The Dalles Chronicle; February 1, 2012

Juanita Maxine Foote, 93, a resident of Portland, Ore., and a past resident of The Dalles, Ore., died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, in Portland.
She was born Sept. 19, 1918, in Miami, Okla., the only child to Tom and Maude M. (Jerritt) Scruggs.
She grew up in Miami, where she attended school.
She married Albert L. Foote in Miami on Oct. 16, 1937. She resided in The Dalles for the majority of her adult life and moved to Portland seven years ago to be near her family. She attended Life In Christ Center in The Dalles and enjoyed reading the Bible, watching Christian programs and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Cindy Dudas, Michael Dudas, Scott Nails and David Foote; her great-grandchildren, Richard Fogel, Brooke Taylor, Timothy Kipers, Jr. and Tyler Kipers and a daughter-inlaw; Sharon Auda.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home.
