CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, BUTLER COUNTY — Eric R. Lawton of Cranberry Township died Saturday morning, Aug. 21, 2004, in his residence. He was 27.
Born Feb. 5, 1977, in Farrell, Mr. Lawton was a son of Rick
M. Lawton and Susan E. (Rakoci) Rapp. He was a graduate of Butler High School in 1995 and was employed by McCrackin Ford in Pittsburgh as a salesman.
Mr. Lawton enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with
Surviving are: a son, Camron R. Lawton, Butler; his father
and stepmother, Rick M. Lawton and Bethann T. Lawton,
Cranberry Township; his mother and stepfather, Jeffrey A. and Susan E. Rapp, Butler; his half sister, Taylor A. Lawton, Cranberry Township; two stepsisters, Amysue L. Miller, Butler; and Heather L. Rapp, Allison Park; his maternal grandmother, Edna Rakoci, West Middlesex; his paternal grandparents, Dick and Frances Lawton, Hermitage;
and numerous aunts and uncles and three cousins.
Mr. Lawton was preceded in death by his materna grandfather, John T. Rakoci.

Service: Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday (8-24-04) in Church of the Good Shepherd, West Middlesex, with the Rev. Howard J. King, pastor, as celebrant. Please meet at the church.
Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, Hermitage.
