Foote, Nathaniel, Wethersfield. Inventory £244-18-00. Taken 23 September, 1655, by Richard Treat, Samuel Smith & Nathaniel Dickinson. The children: Nathaniel, ["about"] 7 years; Samuel, ["about"] 5; Daniel, ["about"] 4; Elizabeth, ["about"] 3 years.
Court Record, Page 68--7 June, 1655: Administration granted to the Widow.

The widow Elizabeth m. (2) William Gull and removed to Hadley, Mass.

Wethersfield Village Cemetery was the only cemetery in the town of Wethersfield until the early 1800s and no record exists of 17th century burials in this cemetery. Nathaniel is most likely interred in an unmarked grave. Only three gravestones existed in 1899 for a person who was buried there before 1700 and Nathaniel Foote, Jr. was not one of the three.
