Mrs. Pauline Adams, 93 years and three months, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emmett Cox, as death claimed a member of one of the oldest families in the Loving community.
Mrs. Adams' death resulted from the complications of old age aggravated by heart trouble; she had been living at her daughter's home a short time.
Mrs. Adams came to Texas in 1879 and settled four miles north of Loving where she lived until she moved to be with her daughter.
Services were held at the old homestead with burial in Hawkins Chapel.
Survived by two daughters - Mrs. Emmett Cox and Miss Nannie Adams, who is blind and made her home with her mother on the Loving Farm; one granddaughter - Miss Urda Cox.
Her husband preceded her in death.
