F.A. was born in Lakeview TX to Minnie Ola Capp and Freeman B Butler the oldest of three sons.
He was an adventurer he flew planes, worked on anything that moved, Homesteaded a ranch in Alaska, served in the Airforce during WWII as a mechanic on airplanes. F.A. built a Sail boat and sailed it for several years. Once he found an old fashioned Organ grinders Organ and fixed it up, then got a monkey to go with it. The kids loved it. He was always the center of attention at family gatherings.
A few years before his death his house caught fire and although he was not seriously injured he was never quite the same. He spent the last few years of his life in a nursing home in Gardner Ks. He always wanted to get back on the road. His theme song should have been "On the Road Again" He loved to go and do.
