A memorial service for Tami Kay Billingsley of McMinnville will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Dayton Christian Church. The Rev. Jim Kirby will officiate. Private interment will be in Springfield Memorial Gardens, Springfield.
Ms. Billingsley died Oct. 7, 2002, in Willamette Valley Medical Center, McMinnville. She was 33.
She was born March 10, 1969 in Cottage Grove, the daughter of Lannie Eugene and Vickie Lee Hague Billingsley. She attended Cottage Grove High School and later obtained a secretarial degree from Trend Community College, Eugene. She then worked for a Eugene insurance company for a year.
She quit work to raise her children. She worked part time as an emergency room admitting clerk in Cottage Grove Hospital for a year in 1989. She had been disabled since 1999.
Ms. Billingsley attended the Community Christian Church, McMinnville, and the Dayton Christian Church. She loved animals, especially horses. She enjoyed reading and studying the Bible.
Survivors include two daughters, AriAnne Billingsley of McMinnville and Shayla Orcutt of Eugene; a son, Shawn Tarlo of Camp Lake, Wis.; her parents, both of McMinnville; a sister, Corina Crites of McMinnville; four grandparents, Lenore Billingsley and Ted Billingsley, both of Madras, and Harry Hague and June Hague, both of Cottage Grove; and a great-grandmother, Lucille Mead of Madras.
