Mr. Jennings Veryel Frock
Mr. Jennings Veryel "Jinks" Frock, 80, Mayberry Road, Westminster, died Monday, May 23 in Carroll County General Hospital, Westminster. He was the husband of Beulah Keefer Frock.
Born in Maryland, Mr. Frock was a son of the late John W. and Bessy Irene Miller Frock.
Surviving Mr. Frock, besides his wife are five daughters, Mrs. Audrey Fair and Mrs. Betty Austin, both of Taneytown, Mrs. Alice Fairchild of Morgantown, W. VA, Mrs. Ruby Leese of Westminster and Mrs. Dorris Hansbrough, Union Bridge; three sons, Jennings Frock Jr. of East New Market; Stanley F. Frock of Littlestown, PA and Kenneth K. Frock, Westminster; 19 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lulu Shirk and Mrs. Freda Ropp, both of Taneytown; two brothers, Roscoe Frock, Littlestown and Roland Frock, Emmitsburg.
Mr. Frock was a member of Pipe Creek Church of the Brethren, Taneytown Rod & Gun Club, Mayberry Game Association and the Indian Lookout Conservation Club of Emmitsburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 26, at the Pipe Creek Church of the Brethren with Mr. Frock's pastor, the Rev Gene Hagenberger, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Skiles Funeral Home, Taneytown from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, and also from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. at the church Thursday.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Frock's name be made to the memorial fund of the Pipe Creeks Church of the Brethren.
