Obituaries
Reda R. Bowers
Reda Romaine Bowers, 85, of Taneytown, MD, died Friday, Nov 28, at Gettysburg Hospital.
Born in Taneytown, she was a daughter of the late Elmer R. and Leila Remanman. She is the wife of Raymond E. Bowers.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Wayne M. Bowers, Taneytown and Robert A. Bowers, Harney Md; five daughters, Esther B. Hoover, Keymar, MD, Elaine L.Cassidy, Hedgeville, W,Va and Edith A. Speak, Ellen K.Welty and Doris Y. Morningstar, all of Taneytown; 15 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, four great grandchild and two step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Skiles Funeral Home, Taneytown with the Rev. Morgan Andreas officiating. Interment will be in the Grace United Church of Christ Cemetery, Taneytown. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7-9 p.m.
