She was the daughter of William T. and Mary C.(Plantenberg)Perkins of Hanover.
Rebecca was a member of First United Presbyteran Church in Westminster, Md., where she played the piano. She was a 2001 graduate of South Western High School, Hanover. and was a senior at Shippensburg University.
Surviving also are two brothers, Donald W. Perkins, currently serving in the U.S. Navy in the Persian Gulf, and Kenneth M., at home, paternal grandmother, Bonnie N. Perkins of Memphis, Tenn.; maternal great grandparents, Paul and Leone Plantenburg of Spring hill, Fla.' and matermnal freat grandmother, Dagmar Leedahl of Minnesota.
Rebecca was predeceased in death by her paternal grandfather, Arch E. Perkins.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Walt Peters officiating.
