Micheal Lippincott Booth,35, died suddenly on Saturday, December 31, 2005, along with his brother, David S. Booth, as the result of a car accident near Silver Run.
Born on Feburary 19, 1970, in Westminster, he was the son of Sarah Speicher"Sally" Booth of Westminster, Md and the late David Lippincott Booth, D.V.M., who predeaced him in July of 2003.
Mcheal worked in political affairs and was a graduate of York College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He recieved his Masters in Political Science and Foreign Affairs from American University. He loved writing, reading, and computer gaming. He also had a love for animals, which he inherited from his father.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn E. "Katie" Booth Corbin and Micheal Corbin of Westminster; aunts and uncles, Susan Houle od Vermont, Crieghton Booth of Pennsylvania, Diane Blubaugh of Westminster, Mary Gillin of Pennsylvania, and Glenn Speicher of Westminster; and several cousins. He was predeaced by a twin brother, Lawrence Lippincott Booth.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, Md., with his pastor, Father Ron Fischer of the Westminster Ascension Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment will be in Westminster Cemetery. The family will recieve friends at the funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made in Micheal's name to the David L. Booth, D.V.M. Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o New Windsor State Bank, P.O. Box 489, New Windsor, MD 12776, for deserving senior attending the University of Georgia Veterinary College.
