Robin Ann Sircy Lewis, age 60, of St. Augustine, Fla., died May 24, 2010, at Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL. She was a native and lifelong resident of St. Augustine. She was in the graduating class of 1967 of St. Augustine High School and a long-time member Trinity Episcopal Church. She was the wife of the late Richard Q. Lewis Jr.
Robin employed by the St. Johns County School District for more than 30 years, most recently at Osceola Elementary School. She loved working with children and keeping the Osceola Library full of plants. She has a special talent for plants, flowers and fashion. A special thank you to the faculty and staff of Osceola Elementary along with the nurses at BMC of Jacksonville for all their kindness and care they gave Robin.
Robin will be remember as a beautiful lady of few words but many kind deeds.
Memorial services were held 4 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. David Weidner, pastor, officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. The family requests that donations of books in her name be made to Osceola Elementary School Library.
Robin is survived by her parents, Robert and Dolores Sircy; children, Suzanne Forrester (Steve), St. Augustine, Richard Q. Lewis III (Danna), Washington, D.C., and Ben Lewis, St. Augustine; grandchildren, Forrest and Quintin Hare, Leah Forrester, Isabella Lewis, Sophia Lewis and Sy"mya Lewis; sisters, Lindy Grant (Thomas) and Susan Layne (Ken), both of St. Augustine; niece, Caroline McCarron; and nephew, Wes Grant. Also a large host of friends.
