Birth: Oct. 13, 1966
Death: Jan. 8, 2004, Iraq

Army Staff Sgt. Davis was assigned to the 603rd Transportation Company, 142nd Corps Support Battalion, Fort Polk, Louisiana. Davis was killed while on board a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter when it was shot down during a Medevac mission in Fallujah. Two decades after joining the Army right out of high school, Craig had been planning to retire in 2004. He was on his way to Baghdad for a medical examination because of arm numbness when the Black Hawk helicopter he was in was shot down. Survivors include his wife, Rosalind, and their two children.
