Marty, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, died peacefully in his home in Rochester, New York on February 14, 2005, at age 76. He was the son of Rudolf and Frieda Siebach of Gloversville, New York, Marty was loved by all who knew him, including his wife of 47 years June Johnson Siebach, formerly of Morrisonville, New York; his fourteen children: Paul (Gretchen) Siebach, Jeannine (Robert) Metzfield, Anita (Mark) MacDonald, Mark (Cyndi) Siebach, Memory (Richard) Hark, Theresa (Steve) Clay, Cynthia (Scott) Lindeman, Sandra (Terry) Marler, Margo (Burton) Tew, Deborah (Scott) Ey, Colleen (James) Mitchell, Michelle Siebach, Sharlene (Jay) Goodliffe and Matthew Siebach; his 46, well-hugged, grandchildren; sisters: Ruth Knight, Miriam Nelson, Elizabeth Young, Eleanor Knight; and brothers Henry Siebach and Ralph Siebach.Marty graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1957, where he later taught Electrical Engi neering for 38 years. He received his Masters degree from the University of Illinois. While attending RIT he competed in wrestling and then as a professor; he spent his lunch hours playing basketball with the "Noontime Warriors".A stalwart, lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Marty diligently served others in various capacities, including a mission in Germany, 11 years as a Bishop, family historian, and Palmyra temple worker. Family and friends appreciated his compassionate, hard working and loving nature. He left this world a better place.
