As a child, in 1870 and 1880 census records Thomas goes by William T. In 1900 forward he is listed as Thomas W.
Thomas first married Sarah "Isabell" Burlison on March 23, 1884, they have a son William Archie. After Sarah's death in 1887, William was in the home of his mother's parents. Thomas married Frances Cannon Riley about 1891.
In the 1900 Everton, Dade County, Missouri Census Thomas W and his wife "Francis" have been married nine years. Their children are: daughter Claudie, 7; Everett B, 6; Leroy, 3; and Earnest, 7 months. The children of Frances and her first husband Michael living at home are: James W Riley, 18; Mamie (Mary Magdelene) Riley, 17; and Thomas Riley, 11.
Two more sons are listed in the 1910 Census, one age 9, whos name I can't read and "Hurbert," age 7.
His Missouri Death Certificate states that Thomas worked as a section foreman for the Frisco Railroad. He died of Bronchial Pneumonia at age 71. He also suffered from Senility and chronic Nephritis. His usual home was Everton, MO.
Thomas and Frances were staying with their daughter Claudine and husband Fred Avery in Springfield, MO at the time of their deaths, as they were both ill. They died about a week apart at the home of Fred Avery, 536 W. Central.
