Mrs. Agnes Adams, 86, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday in a local hospital.
She was born Nov. 7, 1878 in Goshen Hill, S.C. She has been a Chickasha resident for 32 years, formerly residing in Texas. Her husband, Charles Edward Adams preceded her in death on April 12, 1939. She has been in failing health for five years. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Frisco Avenue Methodist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Mattie Looney, Chickasha and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Sevier Funeral Home with Rev. J. O. Himes and Rev. Anna Hickman officiating.
Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
