Othal Bearly married James Bogan on September 8, 1906 in Madison County, Indiana. They had one child.
MRS. ELMER BOGAN DIES LATE SUNDAY
Mrs. Othal May Bogan, age 55, wife of J. Elmer Bogan, expired Sunday at 11 p.m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Maxine McCracken, on the west Twenty-fifth St. road, following an illness of eight months.
Mrs. Bogan came to this city 38 years ago from Mt. Summit. She was born in Alexandria and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was also an active member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church and belonged to Anderson Chapter No. 154, Order of Eastern Star. Mr. Bogan is a salesman for the McMahan-Leib Company.
The body was removed to the Brown and Eckenberg funeral home. Funeral services will be held there today at 4 p.m. with Dr. Frank K. Baker, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Surviving besides the husband and daughter at whose home she died, are her mother, Mrs. C. G. Ellington of this city and sister Mrs. Grace Shafer, of Detroit, Mich.
