Mrs. Benjamin Darms Dies at Auburndale
Marshfield friends of Mrs. Benjamin Darms, who resided on a farm two miles east of Auburndale were pained to hear of her sudden death, which occurred on Thursday of last week after an illness of only five days with pneumonia and pleurisy, Prior to this time she enjoyed almost perfect health. She was 43 years of age the 18th of last July.
Deceased, whose maiden name was Frances Syms was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter P. Syms, one of the pioneer families of the village of Auburndale. She was married to the husband who still survives her twenty-one years ago. Her father died last November.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her mother, three sisters, two in Stevens Point and one in Maurepas, Louisianna, and one brother in Milwaukee.
The remains were taken to Stevens Point where services were held from St. Stevens Catholic Church Monday and the body laid to rest in the parish cemetery by the side of her father.
