Willma Irene Countryman
The Oklahoma Land Rush was in 1889 and he does have a Land Record during these following years in Oklahoma. This may have made him want to take a wife and Nellie B.T. Nelson entered his life and they married on August 28, 1895. Seven children entered their lives, the second one dying of rheumatism before he was a teenager. It grieved them greatly.
He was a hard worker who loved animals and we were told his trained dogs were entertaining and the workhorses would pull anything for this man. Great charisma, he died on May 21, 1927, in Crystal Plains, Kansas, at the age of 58, and was buried in Downs, Kansas, by his son, John, and later Nellie.
