Mrs. John Vaden died Saturday, January 25th, and was buried the following day in the Mack Vaden grave yard.

Carthage Courier, February 06, 1919
Mrs. Arminta Vaden, aged 67 years, died at her home near Elmwood early Sunday morning, February 2, 1919. It is thought that Mrs. Vaden died of heart trouble, probably complicated with influenza. The remains were laid to rest Sunday evening in the Mack Vaden grave yard. Mrs. Vaden was a member of the Baptist church and lived a long and useful life.

She leaves her husband and the following children: Walter Vaden of Arkansas, David Vaden of Nashville, Alvie, Meridy and Herman Vaden of near Elmwood, W.F. Vaden of Gordonsville, and Mrs. Forest Green of Granville.
