Jack Vannerson, 80, of Paducah died at 5 a.m. Saturday at his home.
Mr. Vannerson, a native of Calvert City, was the retired owner and operator of several service stations. He was a member of First Christian Church. Elks Lodge BPOE 217 and the American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army Corps of Engineers.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Greenwell Vannerson: a son, Pat Vannerson of Paducah; two daughters, Ann Wilson of Paducah and Mary Lee Largent of Sharpe; five grandchildren: for great-grandchildren: and several nieces and nephews.
His parents were Robert Elam Vannerson and Annie Lee Vannerson.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Calvert City Cemetery. The Rev. Dann Masden will officiate.
Friends may call at Roth Funeral Chapel from 2 to 8 p.m. today.
