The Grim Reaper's Work in Our Community and Elsewhere

Mrs. Clara Bergstresser, died suddenly at her home near Waterfall Wednesday July 29th, 1921. She had not been in good health for some time but the news of her death was quite a shock to her many friends.

Mrs. Bergstresser was born July 31st, 1858, hence she was aged 62 years 10 months and 28 days. She was an affectionate wife and mother and a friend to all her acquaintances. She was a member of the M. E. church for a period of thirty years and was at all times ready to do her duty. She will be greatly missed in the home and community.

Left to mourn her demise art; her husband, Riley Bergstresser, and the following children :-

Myrtle, wife of Rudecille(sic) Lamberson, Hustontown; Inez Wathen of Showers, Pa.; Martha Heefner of Waterfall, Ta.; Meta Cromwell of Alliance, Ohio.; Miss Lena at home; Ernest of Knobsville; and Leonard of Ipava, Ill. She is also survived b i the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Anna Anderson of Seward, Nebraska; Mrs. Emma Postlethwaite of Tuirtle Creek, Pa.; Mrs. Ella Bergstresser of Waterfall, Pa.; and E. 0. Kesselring of Hustontown.

Funeral services were conducted last Saturday.
