Ruby Bailey, 82, of Garfield, Ark., died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006, at Bradford House Care Center in Bentonville, AR. She was born Sept. 24, 1923, in Huntsville, Ark., to James Lee Reynolds and Iva Bell Simmons Reynolds. After the death of her mother in 1941, she quit schol to stay home and care for her brothers. She lived in northwest Arkansas all her life and was a resident of Autumn Place in Pea Ridge, Ark., for seven years. She was a member of the Brightwater United Methodist Church near Pea Ridge, Ark., and senior citizens groups in Bentonville and Seligman, Mo. She enjoyed crafts, music, bingo and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Alexander Bailey, in 1985; a stepson, Franklin Ray Bailey; and a brother, James Lee Reynolds Jr. Survivors include five brothers, Roy Reynolds of Rogers, Ark., Bob Reynolds of Batesville, Ark., Wayne Reynolds of Lompoc, Calif., Wendell Reynolds of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Darrel Reynolds of Bentonville, Ark.; and many other family members. There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at the Brightwater United Methodist Church near Pea Ridge, Ark., with the Rev. Jack Schaible. Burial will be at the Pratt Cemetery near Rogers, Ark. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge, Ark.
