CLARINE SIMPSON, age 86, a resident of Cedar Ridge Health Campus in Cynthiana, died Friday, December 23, 2005, at Harrison Memorial Hospital. Born in Nicholas County, July 11, 1919, to the late Sherman and Elizabeth Thomas Fryman, she was a retired registered nurse and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cynthiana, Lady Elks, American Legion Auxiliary and the Business and Professional Women's Club.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clay Simpson, a brother, Joseph Fryman, and four sisters, Eva Masters, Lucille Feix, Helen Thompson and Sally Acke. She is survived by a sister, Pauline Williams, of Paris, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Ware Funeral Home by Rev. Allen Gibson. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Cynthiana or one's favorite charity.
