Virginia E. LaSalle, 85, of Joplin, MO. entered heaven's gates October 28, 2011 at 1:55 PM with her family at her bedside.


Virginia was born October 5, 1926 in Joplin, MO the oldest daughter of Daniel and Daphine McNeil. Virginia married LeRoy C. LaSalle May 6, 1946 in Columbus, KS. LeRoy preceded her in death and was at heaven's gate welcoming his wife of 65 years.

Virginia is survived by two sons, Lee and Dan LaSalle, and three daughters, Linda Mosley, Miki LaSalle and Lana LaSalle-Hocker. Virginia has 21 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, a daughter, three granddaughters and a grandson.

Virginia started the twirling group The Waco Cubettes. She was an accomplished interpreter for the deaf, a homemaker and a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother.

Her body has been taken for cremation. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday at New Hope United Methodist Church. Visitation will follow at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to rebuild St. John's Mercy Hospital c/o Parker Mortuary.
