Former Pastor Dead
Colrain, March 17 - Word has been received from Wauwatosa, Wis., of the sudden death on March 1 of Rev. Frank L Stacy, former pastor of the First and Second Baptist churches. Mrs. Stacy passed away March 24, 1929. Both Mr and Mrs Stacy were well known here and leave a great many friends. For the past few years Mr Stacy had been engaged as superintendent of the Wisconsin Society for the Friendless, with headquarters at Milwaukee. He is survived by four children, Madeline, Walter, Lawrence and Richard. By the request of Mr Stacy, the body was creamated and the ashes will be sent on for burial in the family lot in the Branch cemetery.

STACY, FRANK LAURENCE, born, Epping, N.H., July 15, 1888. Education: MacMaster University, B.A., 1913; Rochester Theological Seminary, 1915, graduate. Ordination: Baptist, Colrain, Mass, Oct. 22, 1915; entered Congregational fellowship, 1919. Congregational Pastorates: Buckland, Mass. 1917-19; Eden, Vt., 1919-21, also serving Lowell, 1919-20; Cabot and South Woodbury, Vt., 1921-22; Green Ridge, Mo., 1922-24; Brule, Neb., 1924-26; Hayes Center, Neb., 1926-28. Died at Milwaukee, Wis., March 1, 1930. [Congregational Yearbook, 1930, page 68]
