Emogene Roebuck - Thaxton Seiple
Birth: May 11, 1915
Monroe County
Mississippi, USA
Death: Jan. 22, 2007
Mahoning County
Ohio, USA

On Monday, Jan. 22, 2007 a bright star appeared in the sky for Emogene R. Seiple. That is the day that the Lord took my mother's hand and led her to heaven to be with Him, her parents, her 2 husbands and her siblings.

She was the kindest, sweetest person you would ever meet, both inside and out. She is so loved and so missed by so many. It was hard to let her go but she is now at peace and free from pain. That is what we have to remember and the beautiful memories she left with us and know some day we will see her again. I remember the last several days she would just sit with me with her eyes closed holding on to my fingers with both of her hands. That was so peaceful and special, we would sit for hours that way. We were blessed to have her around for so long. She was a lady that everyone loved.

In her memorial was a verse that read:
God saw she was getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so He put his arms around her
and whispered, "come with Me"
With tearful eyes we watched her suffer
and saw her fade away.
Although we loved her dearly,
we could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best. Author Unknown
