Professional Football Player. He played at the defensive end position for ten seasons (1971 to 1980) in the National Football League with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a member and key player on four Super Bowl Championship teams (1975, 1976, 1979 and 1980 Steelers) and was part of the famed defense known as the "Steel Curtain". After playing collegiate football at Texas A&M-Commerce University, White was selected by the Steelers in the 4th round of the 1971 NFL Draft and appeared in 126 regular season games. His other notable career highlights include four-time selection to the NFL All Pro Team (1972 to 1975) and two Pro Bowls (1972, 1973). (bio by: C.S.)
