| Birth: | Feb. 6, 1944 New York, USA | | Death: | May 10, 1967 Quang Tri, Vietnam |  native of Pearl River, NY; graduate of SUNY New Paltz; active in sports especially soccer team; As a US Marine in Vietnam, he died in the Quang Tri province, when his long-range reconnaissance patrol was hit unexpectedly by grenades and small arms fire. Rescuers with a helicopter were unable to save him and his three comrades. Until January, 2005, he was listed as POW/MIA. It was then that an unearthed tooth was compared with dental records. He will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery in the Spring, 2005. For further details see article in Poughkeepsie (NY) Journal 11 February 2005.
