Bradford Conley was tank commander of a M8 Greyhound tank. It carried a four man crew. On September 11, 1944 the M8 Greyhound came under fire from a German Tiger tank in the town of Baelen- Membach (Belgium). The M8 exploded from a direct hit. One unknown crew member jumped free while Bradford Conley,Harry F. Kested , his radio operator and a fourth unknown crew member were killed.
