Carrie Alice (Pless) Kiser, 92, of Ellettsville, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011, atthe IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Born May 18, 1919, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Francis Herbert and Emily Ellen (Stancombe) Pless. Carrie was the wife of Emery Allan Kiser.
She had 5 children: Darrel, Charles, Ruth, Betty and Emily. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Darrel and several siblings.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday (September 21) at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Shear officiating. Burial will be at Chambersville Cemetery.
