James third wife is Minnie C. Peterson. The cemetery book states that there is no stone for James G. He is buried with his first and second wives.
James was a businessman and cattleman, who in his younger years partnered with his brother George in the merchantile business in Everton, Missouri for ten years. When he sold out to his brother, he moved to Kansas City and worked in the merchandise brokerage business there for another ten years. He then returned to Dade County, Missouri and joined his brother William O. in the cattle business on the large Wilson ranch.
His children with first wife Louise are Mamie (mar. Charles Brockway) and Claire F. His child with second wife Josie is Paul (mar. Minnie Bowman).
James died at age 66 in Springfield Hospital of acute alcoholism. The informant on his Missouri death certificate is his brother George Wilson of Everton. His occupation is listed as banker.
