Funeral services for Raby Lee, lifelong resident of the Flat and Cold Springs area, were held at 2 p. m, Sunday at
Scott's Chapel. Mr. Lee, 61, was stricken with a heart attack Friday night at his home and died at 12:10 a. m. Saturday in the local hospital.
Rev. Ollie Williams conducted the funeral services, and burial was in the Restland Cemetery. Pallbearers were E. F. Stuteville, Raymond Dixon, Robert G. Altum, Bob Lee, Grayson Lee and John Lee.
Mr. Lee, who was born near Flat May 27, 1900, operated a farm in that community most of his life. For the last four or five years, he had worked at Fort Hood. He was a member of the Cold Springs Baptist Church and of the Masonic Lodge.
He was married Dec. 24,1924, to Miss Ettie Farris and she survives him.
Also surviving are four sons, Rex Alvin Lee of Waco, Clarence Ray Lee of Gatesville, Joe Raby Lee of Elkhart, Kansas, and James Curtis Lee of Flat; two brothers, Clayton
Lee of Gatesville and Ivan Lee of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Altum and Mrs. Troy Faucett, both of Killeen; and six grandchildren.
