Death Called Chas. M. Combs [Coombs]
Charles M. Combs [Coombs] died quite suddenly about 9:15 Sunday evening, at the family home on Jefferson Street. He had been down town about 5 o'clock in the afternoon and was arranging the kindling for lighting a fire in the stove the next morning, when he fell to the floor and passed away instantly.
Deceased would have been 73 years old next September and had lived in Tehama County since 1878... The funeral will be held at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon from the family residence.
